FAQs

  1. Q: How is this First Aid course assessed?

    A:

At the end of this course participants undertake a theory and practical assessment carried out by independent assessors. They will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the theoretical and practical aspects of unconsciousness, resuscitation and the control of bleeding.

  2. Q: Should I go on the 1 day or 2 day First Aid course?

    A:

Whilst there are no hard and fast rules the HSE lay down, they have published this on their website which explains all the factors you need to think about before deciding what First Aid course is best for you. http://www.hse.gov.uk/firstaid/needs-assessment.htm I would also advise that you go to whoever you are working for to see what they advise. At the end of the day the questions best asked is if something did happen on site, would you be able to deal with it? If you were in court because of an incident, would the judge think the training you had be adequate? Whatever route you decide upon, we would be happy to help you with either the 3 day or 1 day course.
